Seka Sports Expands Within Santa Fe Springs
Encon Commercial, Santa Fe Springs – February 2012
Santa Fe Springs welcomes Seka Sports to our growing business community. According to John Scatoloni, Managing Director of locally based Encon Commercial Real Estate Services, “Santa Fe Springs is an easy sell compared with other industrial cities in the Los Angeles basin. Our business community is focused on industrial concerns with a long history of manufacturing and has most recently become a top choice for logistic and import/export companies.”
We find our local business advantages very well aligned with companies’ key concerns including a) great strategic location in the central Los Angeles area– well served by major freeways, state roads and local arterials, b) excellent warehousing options for lease or for purchase at the right price, and perhaps most important c) the choice of a safe and clean environment to call home. While lease rates have flattened out, we do expect to see low vacancies in class A distribution space, and recommend locking in a below market rate before the rebound.
Seka Sports imports youth sporting goods nation-wide and recently leased 20,000 square feet of fully refurbished, dock-high loading distribution space at the Prologis Pioneer Business Park in Santa Fe Springs. Prologis delivered a ready-to-move-in facility, in which Encon Commercial negotiated a turn-key, state-or-the-art product showroom at no additional charge to help Seka Sports highlight their new product lines. What gives Santa Fe Springs high marks in the search for space in Los Angeles is a positive business-centric city structure emphasizing development of quality distribution centers with features that add to operational efficiency, plus our community’s drive for a safe and clean environment to do business.
Congratulations and best of luck in 2012!
